| Okay, so here's an idea about a possible selectable class. The brawler. A big, bad, melee unit that utilizes steampunked gloves as upgradable equipment/weapon. The kinda dude that starts off as just a physical damage dealer, but as they upgrade their equipment they can charge their gloves with various things... Like electricity, stunners, steam... I dunno just an idea that came to mind. | |

| Love it. We have to have the standard Tank, DPS, Healer options. This character would be DPS, I assume? We can have multiple types of tanks, dps, healers, mixtures.
I do want threat skills, as I've played some games that really dont have those. Almost makes "tanks" pointless. They become high defense, high HP DPs lol. | |

| Yeah. I like the holy trinity of having the Tank, DPS, Healer with threat management. However, I like what Guild Wars 2 did in somewhat removing that? Like, just about every class can be support, DPS or can take a hit, depending on your play style. =S My biggest complaint with it though is that they don't really have an aggro system. Makes some stuff a little chaotic.
But yeah, I would see this as more of a "DPS" hit 'em hard kinda thing. xD | |

| Yea, the aggro system is what I mean by threat skills. In the game Im currently playing, Priests seem to tank the majority of the time lol. | |

| Could we do sub-classes on Brawlers, like maybe the Natives have Electric gloves and such, where the non-natives have more primitive gloves(Stone fists, etc.).
Also Should we do professions based on class, or let people choose their professions?
Brawlers would be like Blacksmiths, making gear/weps. If they become Primitive brawlers, they make this kind of item. If they become Native brawlers, they make that kind? | |

| I'm personally down for letting people choose their professions. That seems to be the thing that people like.
I do like the differences in primitive gloves and tech gloves. :3 Gives it some flavor. | |

| What about profession sub classes? Instead of having this idea on the class itself, have it in the profession. Like at a certain point of smithing, you choose what type of smith you want to be(primitive or Non-Primitive)? I really like the idea of customization, but I also see a market for a possible cash item. Say you chose primitive, but you seen something Non-Primitive you REALLY want to make. Well, here buy this wondermuffin* stone and choose another profession.
* wondermuffin should NOT be the name of the item
I also think items of this type should be attached to quests. Oh you want to change, well buy this item AND go do this tiny quest line that gives your character the knowledge to switch. Oh you thought this was going to be a p2w game? Pwnt. | |
